Emily was born and raised in and around New Olreans, Louisiana . She considers her a native of Avondale, a small suburb on the West Bank of the Mississippi River. She recently graduated from Southwestern University with a degree in Fine Arts Management. Currently she works as a bridal consultant for Ahead of the Curve Bridal Salon in Austin , Texas. She really enjoys the opportunity to speak with other brides and swap stories of wedding planning and gown searching.

Emily is planning to begin her career working with a fine arts institution once she and Michael have settled into their new home after the wedding. Emily loves to travel to different cities and countries and cannot wait for Michael to join her on life's small and large adventures. Emily and Michael plan to continue singing with St. Thomas More Catholic Church and will continue to strive to keep God as the focus of their lives.  

Emily's parents reside in Friendswood, Texas and the extended family resides in Houston, Texas, Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Michael was born in the Philippines and moved to Dallas , Texas at the age of twelve. He attended Dallas Jesuit for high school and graduated from Southwestern University . With a degree in Chemistry, he has worked for the past six and a half years at Samsung Austin Semiconductor for the Materials and Utility Engineering Departments. Michael is equally excited about getting to travel with Emily on many adventures to come.

Michael's family currently resides in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Daisy is Michael's loving beagle. She is 3 years old and is still wild at heart. She spends her days relaxing in the sun or going for walks. She is very excited about the wedding and can't wait to spend time with grandmother (Nancy Latour) while the newly married couple spends their honeymoon in Hawaii .
